My vases are individually handbuilt using a beautiful textured black clay. They are decorated with black and white slips, blue and clear glazes and with real gold lustre accents.
My work is about texture and I love to leave an area of the piece unglazed so you can feel the texture of the clay. These little vases are a really useful size - I made the first one because sometimes you just want to pick a few flowers from the garden and only need a small vase.
As the outside of the vase is unglazed, I would recommend that you sit it on a coaster to protect surfaces.
Each vase is unique so the vase you see in the picture will not be the one you receive, but will be made and decorated in the same way.
